Project Freefall Launches Cross-Platform Skydiving Game with VR and PC Support

Project Freefall introduces a revolutionary skydiving tag experience where players battle in mid-air using grappling hooks and thrusters. The game supports cross-platform play between Meta Quest VR headsets and traditional platforms like Steam Deck, creating unique advantages for each play style.

Innovative Skydiving Game Breaks Platform Barriers

According to reports from Android Central, veteran VR studio Schell Games has launched Project Freefall in “earliest access” during Steam Next Fest, introducing a unique skydiving tag game that doesn’t force players to choose between virtual reality and traditional gaming platforms. Sources indicate the game features eight players battling in mid-air while free-falling from 10,000 feet, using arm-mounted rockets and grappling hooks to compete for a backpack that may or may not contain a functioning parachute.
